It is Tuesday, November 16th, 2010. It is 3:56 pm and a rainy day. Before you read this letter, I would like you both to know I love you.
Today I would like to talk to you both about decisions. Every decision has a purpose; every decision has an outcome.
Having a purpose is always okay; at times it can be an ambition and at others an objective. If the purpose, whatever it may be, blossoms in your heart and you decide to follow through to accomplish it, remember this…
Every outcome is the right outcome.
There is always light at the end of each tunnel; there is an achievement in everything that you do. Many achievements will be accomplished without pretension which is always the way to go.
When you aspire to do great things, you will end up doing great things. Some outcomes might not be the way you imagined them; it might interfere with your judgement. You might ask, “Why did it turn out this way?” It is okay to ask all sorts of questions like this. Embrace them because you don’t ask those types of questions every day. It is okay to simply move on, whether you have a sense of accomplishment or not.
Even though I am writing this letter years before you read it, in my soul I have no doubt the women you both have become is what you aspired to be. I love you both.
